A 37-year-old individual, identified as alias “Riza”, has been arrested by the Provincial Intelligence Unit of Cavite Police Provincial Office, in collaboration with personnel from Dasmariñas City Police Station and the Regional Investigation Team Cavite.

The suspect was taken into custody on Sunday, September 8, in Barangay Sta. Maria, Dasmariñas City, Cavite, following a warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 128, Fourth Judicial Region, Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

The warrant was for violation of Section 4 (A) in relation to Section 6 of the Anti-Trafficking in Persons Act of 2003, as amended by Republic Act 10364.

The arrest was made possible through the efforts of the Provincial Intelligence Unit, led by PLTCOL JERRY B CORPUZ, Chief PIU, Cavite PPO. The suspect is currently in the custody of Dasmariñas City Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.

“This successful operation demonstrates the commitment of the Provincial Intelligence Unit and the entire Cavite Police Force to ensuring the safety and security of the community by bringing wanted persons to justice,” said PCOL ELEUTERIO M RICARDO JR, Provincial Director of Cavite PPO.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office has been actively pursuing wanted individuals to maintain public safety and security in Cavite.
