A man who was listed as one of the most wanted persons in Cavite province for drug-related charges was arrested by Rosario police on Thursday, February 1, 2024.
The suspect, who goes by the aliases “Ronnel” and “Ryan”, was nabbed in Barangay Poblacion, Rosario, Cavite, following an intelligence-driven operation by the Rosario Municipal Police Station (MPS).
PMAJ Sandie Del Finado Caparroso, the acting chief of Rosario MPS, said the suspect is a resident of Barangay Sapa 1, Rosario, Cavite, and is wanted for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The suspect was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest issued by the 4th Judicial Region, Regional Trial Court Branch 16, Cavite City, Cavite, with no bail recommended. He is facing two criminal cases with case numbers 719-2022 and 720-2022.
The suspect is now under the custody of Rosario MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
The Cavite Police Provincial Office said it remains committed to hunting down people with an existing warrant of arrest to make sure that they will face the charges filed against them in court.
