Businessman Robbed and Fatally Shot in Imus, Cavite

A businessman was shot and robbed of money in Brgy. Malagasang 2-F, Imus, Cavite this week.

The victim was identified as Anthony Carrasco.

According to the Imus City Police, the victim was heading to his parked pickup truck after visiting their lotto outlet.

As he entered the vehicle, the robber got in with him. The suspect ordered him to start the car and declared a holdup.

The suspect took ₱12,000 in cash and shot Carrasco. Fortunately, his live-in partner was unharmed.

The robber quickly exited the pickup and attempted to escape by hitching a ride on a motorcycle parked nearby.

The victim was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival by the doctor.

Authorities are currently pursuing the suspect, and Carrasco’s family is seeking justice.
