CAVITE — Cavite State University produced new Registered Electrical Engineers and Master Electricians in the April 2026 licensure examinations, with one graduate placing in the top eight of the national results.
Jan Joseph Belen Lopez ranked among the top eight examinees in the Registered Electrical Engineers Licensure Examination (REELE) with a score of 92.50%.
The CvSU CCAT Campus posted a 75.93% passing rate in the REELE, with 41 out of 54 examinees passing, while the Main Campus recorded 57.58%, or 19 out of 33. Both campuses each registered a 60% passing rate in the Registered Master Electricians Licensure Examination (RMELE).
Nationally, 3,769 out of 6,556 examinees passed the REELE for a 57.49% passing rate, while 493 out of 882 passed the RMELE at 35.05%, according to the Professional Regulation Commission.
The Board of Electrical Engineering administered the examinations across testing centers in the National Capital Region, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.
