The operator of the Manila-Cavite Expressway has announced an extension of asphalt works on the main ramp of the CAVITEX-CALAX Link, temporarily opening a section of the road to motorists through March 6.
Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation said in an advisory Friday that the roadworks, initially scheduled to conclude earlier, will now run through March 6, 2026.
To accommodate traffic during construction, CCLink Road 1 will be temporarily opened to the public. The affected segment is located after the CAVITEX Kawit Toll Plaza southbound, toward the Zeus intersection.
The asphalt works on the main ramp are scheduled from Feb. 11 to Feb. 16, 2026.
The company said traffic marshals and safety officers will be deployed in the area to manage vehicle flow and assist motorists during the construction period.
Cavitex Infrastructure Corporation urged motorists to cooperate and practice safe driving.
