Cavite holds 2nd PESO Congress to boost employment efforts

TAGAYTAY CITY — The Provincial Government of Cavite held its 2nd Provincial PESO Congress recently, bringing together 27 Public Employment Service Office (PESO) managers and staff from local government units, along with job placement officers from three higher education institutions.

The event, organized by the Office of the Provincial Public Employment Service Manager (OPPESM), was held at Hotel Casiana and Events Center and focused on strengthening employment programs in the province.

Governor Athena Bryana Tolentino expressed full support for the province’s employment initiatives, emphasizing inclusive growth and workforce development.

Key presentations included DOLE Assistant Secretary Patrick Patriwirawan’s discussion of the Trabaho Para sa Bayan Plan 2025–2034, and talks from DOLE officials on collaborative employment strategies and inter-agency cooperation.
