Officers from the Kawit Municipal Police Station, in collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 4A, executed a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Sebastian, Kawit, Cavite.
The operation led to the arrest of a man known by the alias “Onse”, a resident of Barangay Tramo-Bantayan, Kawit, after he was caught selling a small sachet of what is suspected to be “Shabu”.
The suspect was immediately informed of his rights under the Miranda Doctrine in a language he understood and was subsequently taken into custody at the Kawit Municipal Police Station for further processing.
PLTCOL Socrates S Jaca, Officer-in-Charge of the Kawit Municipal Police Station, addý the station’s commitment to intensifying efforts against all forms of criminality, particularly drug-related offences.
“This operation sends a strong message to the community about our resolve to eradicate illegal drugs,” Jaca stated.
The police station vows to maintain its vigorous campaign to ensure a safer community, warning residents against involvement in illegal drug activities.
