MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Storm Man-yi has entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) last night and it is named Pepito, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
According to the latest track forecast, the storm’s direction has shifted downward and is expected to affect the Eastern Visayas, Bicol Region, Cavite and CALABARZON, Metro Manila, and Central Luzon regions over the weekend. Meanwhile, Marinduque is expected to be hit by the storm on Saturday afternoon, Nov. 16.
PAGASA warned that the storm’s direction may still change and advised the public to remain alert.
The storm’s track is being closely monitored by PAGASA.
