A suspected drug peddler was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Kawit, Cavite.
The suspect, known by his alias “Intel”, was caught selling a small packet of suspected shabu, a prohibited substance, in Barangay Magdalo-Potol.
The operation was carried out by the Drugs Enforcement Unit of the Kawit Municipal Police Station, led by PLTCOL SOCRATES S JACA, in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
The suspect was taken into custody and brought to the police station for questioning and further investigation.
Police said the operation was part of their ongoing efforts to curb the spread of rampant illegal drugs in Kawit.
The Kawit Municipal Police Station has vowed to continue its campaign against all forms of criminality and warned the public against engaging in illegal activities.
