Philippine police forces arrested two high-value individuals and seized approximately 35 grams of suspected shabu in a buy-bust operation in the city of Dasmariñas, Cavite on Friday.
The operation, which took place around 2:40 pm in Barangay Victoria Reyes, resulted in the arrest of two suspects, identified as “Wewe” (26) and “Jr” (40), both residents of the area.
According to the Cavite Police, the suspects were listed as high-value individuals and were caught with nine heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu, with an estimated weight of approximately 35 grams and an estimated standard drug price of P238,000 pesos.
The operation was conducted by joint operatives from the Philippine National Police’s Provincial Intelligence Unit, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, and the Dasmariñas City Police Station.
Regional Director of the Police Regional Office CALABARZON, PBGEN Paul Kenneth T Lucas, commended the Cavite Police and the units involved for their efforts in combating illegal drugs.
