Wanted for Rape Arrested in Silang, Cavite

A regional-level most wanted person was arrested by the Silang Municipal Police Station in Cavite province on Saturday.

According to the police, the suspect, identified as “Lon,” 35, was arrested in Barangay Bulihan, Silang, Cavite, on the strength of a warrant for two counts of rape. The warrant was issued by the Regional Trial Court Branch 3 Family Court in Tagaytay City, Cavite, and does not recommend bail.

The suspect is currently in the custody of the Silang Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.

The arrest was hailed as a success by the police, who said it demonstrated their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the community by bringing wanted persons to justice.

“This successful operation underscores the dedication of the personnel of Silang MPS and the entire Cavite Police Force to protecting the community,” said Police Col. Eleuterio M. Ricardo Jr., provincial director of Cavite.

The arrest was carried out by the warrant personnel of the Silang Municipal Police Station.
