Chinese National Killed in Ambush in Cavite

GEN. TRIAS, Cavite — A Chinese national was fatally shot in an ambush by armed men in Gen. Trias, Cavite province, police said Sunday.

The victim, identified as David Quina Jiang, 46, was driving along CM Selos Reyes Avenue when a van carrying several suspects approached his vehicle and opened fire, according to investigators.

Jiang was rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.

Authorities are investigating to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the killing.
