CAVITE CITY, Cavite – Two men were stabbed in a bar brawl in Cavite City early Tuesday morning, local police reported.
The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. at a bar on Molino Street in Barangay 41. According to authorities, the altercation began when one patron, identified only as “Dan,” looked at another customer’s table. This provoked “Ian,” who took offense to the glance, leading to a heated argument that escalated into violence.
A third man, known as “Mar,” who attempted to intervene in the fight, was also stabbed by the suspect.
The alleged assailant is now in police custody and faces charges of frustrated homicide. The conditions of the victims were not immediately disclosed.
Cavite City, located in Cavite province, is approximately 30 kilometers southwest of Manila.
