‘Apple’ Caught Selling Shabu in Kawit, Cavite

KAWIT, Cavite — Police arrested a suspected drug dealer in Kawit, Cavite, following a buy-bust operation late Friday night.

Officials said Saturday that the suspect, known as “Apple,” was caught selling a sachet of suspected methamphetamine, locally known as “Shabu,” in Barangay Manggahan-Lawin, Kawit.

The operation was conducted by the Drug Enforcement Unit of Kawit Municipal Police Station, led by PLTCOL Richard D Corpuz and coordinated with PDEA-4A.

“Apple,” whose rights were read under the Miranda Doctrine, is detained at Kawit Municipal Police Station for further processing.

The arrest is part of an intensified crackdown on crime in the Municipality of Kawit.
