In a pre-dawn crackdown on drug-related activities, Kawit Municipal Police Station’s Drug Enforcement Unit, led by PLtCol. Richard D. Corpuz, apprehended last week a known drug figure for possession and sale of narcotics.
The operation, part of a broader initiative to combat crime in the community, took place at Barangay Magdalo-Potol, Kawit, Cavite, where the suspect, known as “Totoy,” was caught selling a sachet of suspected methamphetamine, locally known as “shabu.”
The arrest, which occurred at approximately 1:40 AM, aligns with the station’s commitment to an ongoing, aggressive campaign against criminality.
The suspect was informed of his rights under the Miranda Doctrine and is currently undergoing processing at the police station. Authorities warn the public against involvement in illegal drug activities.
