In a significant blow to the local drug trade, Kawit Municipal Police Station, under the leadership of PLTCOL Richard D Corpuz, has apprehended a notorious drug dealer known as “Liit”.

The arrest was made on April 19, 2024, during a meticulously planned anti-drug operation in Brgy. Magdalo-Potol, Kawit, Cavite.

The operation, coordinated with PDEA-4A, resulted in the seizure of a small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a substance suspected to be “Shabu”. The suspect, a resident of Brgy San Juan 2, Noveleta, Cavite, was taken into custody around 5:00 PM.

Following his arrest, the suspect was informed of his constitutional rights under the Miranda Doctrine in a language he understood. He was then transported to Kawit Municipal Police Station for further processing.

This operation is part of the police station’s ongoing campaign against all forms of criminality, with a particular focus on drug-related crimes. The police have issued a stern warning to the public, urging them to refrain from engaging in illegal drug activities.

PLTCOL Richard D Corpuz, Chief of Police, has reaffirmed the station’s commitment to preventing and eradicating crime in the community.
