Cavite Police Apprehend Top Regional Fugitive

In a significant crackdown on crime, the Cavite Police Provincial Office has successfully apprehended a top regional fugitive, known by the alias “Nesty,” who was wanted on multiple counts of rape.

The arrest took place in Barangay Mambog 3, Bacoor City, Cavite, on April 12, 2024, as a result of a joint intelligence-driven operation conducted by the Warrant and SWAT Personnel of Bacoor Component City Police Station and San Mateo Municipal Police Station, Isabela Provincial Police Office, Police Regional Office 2.

PLtCol John Paolo Carracedo, Chief of Police at Bacoor Component City Police Station, confirmed the identity of the suspect, who has been a resident of the area where he was captured. The suspect was arrested under a Warrant of Arrest for four counts of rape, with the criminal case numbers 40-15496 to 15499, issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 40 in Cauayan City, Isabela. The court has recommended no bail for the accused.

The successful operation reflects the ongoing commitment of the Cavite Police Provincial Office to pursue and bring to justice individuals with outstanding warrants, ensuring they are held accountable for their actions in a court of law.
