A female pedestrian tragically lost her life on Tuesday after being struck by a speeding motorcycle in Silang town, Cavite province.
According to local police, the incident occurred at 7:25 p.m. when Maria Rama was attempting to cross a national road in Barangay Pasong Langka.
Both the rider and the pedestrian sustained injuries and were promptly transported by ambulance to Ospital ng Tagaytay in neighboring Tagaytay City.
Unfortunately, Maria Rama succumbed to her injuries during the journey.
