In a decisive move against criminal activities, the Kawit Municipal Police Station, under the supervision of PLTCOL Richard D Corpuz, successfully conducted a buy-bust operation early Saturday morning.

The operation, which took place at Brgy. Balsahan-Bisita, Kawit, Cavite, led to the arrest of a suspect known as “Benjie” for violating Sections 5 and 11 of Article II of RA 9165.

The suspect, hailing from Brgy Habay 2, Bacoor, Cavite, was caught selling a small sachet of suspected Shabu.

Following the arrest, “Benjie” was informed of his rights under the Miranda Doctrine in a language he understood and was then taken to the Kawit Municipal Police Station for further processing.

The Kawit Municipal Police Station reaffirms its commitment to the relentless pursuit of all forms of criminality, emphasizing this arrest as a stark warning against the involvement in illegal drug activities.
