In a significant boost to law enforcement capabilities, the Provincial Government of Cavite, under the leadership of Governor Jonvic Remulla, has distributed a new fleet of vehicles to the local police force. The handover, which took place on March 20, 2024, at the Provincial Capitol Grounds in Trece Martires City, included 200 NMAX motorcycles and 20 new patrol cars, comprising 10 Wigo and 10 Lite Ace vehicles.

This initiative is part of the Provincial Government’s ongoing efforts to improve public safety and security. The additional vehicles are expected to enhance the operational capacity of the police, allowing for quicker response times, more effective patrolling, and increased community policing activities.

Governor Remulla highlighted the significance of the upgrade, stating, “With over 700 four-wheeled and now 200 two-wheeled vehicles, Cavite’s police force is the most mobile in the country. Our plan is to further expand this fleet to 600 motorcycles within the next two years.”

PCOL Eleuterio M. Ricardo, the Provincial Director of the Cavite Police Provincial Office, expressed gratitude for the support, emphasizing the commitment to maintaining peace and progress in the province. He reminded all chiefs of police of their responsibility in monitoring the new patrol mobiles and underscored the primary duty of maintaining peace and order in Cavite.
