The Cavite Provincial Government, in partnership with various organizations, conducted a medical mission in Barangay Julugan III, Tanza on February 28, 2024. The mission aimed to provide accessible and quality healthcare services to the locals, especially those who are in need of medical attention.

The mission was led by the Office of the Provincial Governor’s medical mission team and the Office of the Provincial Health Officer. They were joined by doctors and staff from the General Emilio Aguinaldo Memorial Hospital (GEAMH), who offered free consultations, check-ups, and treatments to 363 residents. The beneficiaries also received medicines, vitamins, and mosquito repellent lotion to help them prevent and cure common illnesses.

In addition, the mission also provided free eye examinations to the residents, as part of its holistic approach to health promotion. The mission recognized the importance of eye health and vision care, especially for the elderly and children.

The medical mission was supported by the Kabalikat Civicom Tanza Chapter, the Samahan ng mga Kababaihan ng Tindera ng Isda, the Lady Eagles NGO, and the Emergency Response Team. These groups helped in the preparation, coordination, and facilitation of the event. The Barangay Health workers and staff also assisted in the smooth implementation of the mission.

The medical mission was a manifestation of the Cavite provincial government’s commitment to provide continuous and comprehensive healthcare services to its constituents. It also showcased the spirit of collaboration and volunteerism among the various stakeholders who contributed to the success of the event.
