4 dead after L300 van crashes into acacia tree in Naic, Cavite; Driver allegedly fell asleep

A family had a tragic New Year’s Day after their L300 van hit an acacia tree in Brgy. Sabang, Naic, Cavite, on January 03, 2024, past 4 a.m.

According to the investigation, the L300 van, which had 15 passengers including the driver, was heading to Naic Town Proper from Trece. The driver of the L300 van reportedly fell asleep and accidentally crashed into the acacia tree along Brgy. Sabang.

The impact of the collision severely damaged the L300 van. The Naic Police and Ambulance immediately responded to the scene.

Unfortunately, four of the 15 passengers of the L300 van died. The rest were rushed to Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo Hospital for immediate treatment.

The public is reminded to always be careful when driving.
