Indang, Cavite – In the spirit of the holiday season, the Provincial Government of Cavite (PGC) extended its healthcare services to the community of Brgy. Alulod, Indang, Cavite recently.
PGC, in partnership with the local government unit, conducted a medical and dental mission that benefited 222 residents, who received free medical check-ups, dental extractions, medicines, and other health-related items.
The mission was part of the PGC’s “Serbisyong Tama” program, which aims to provide quality and accessible healthcare services to the people of Cavite, especially those in remote and underserved areas. The program is spearheaded by Governor Jonvic Remulla, who has been a staunch advocate of public health and welfare.
The beneficiaries of the mission expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the PGC and the local officials for bringing the healthcare services closer to their homes.
They also praised the professionalism and compassion of the healthcare workers from the Office of the Provincial Health Officer, who attended to their health concerns and needs.
Barangay Chairman Marlito A. Penus thanked PGC for choosing his barangay as one of the recipients of the mission.
He said that the mission was a great help to his constituents, especially during the pandemic, when access to healthcare services was limited and challenging.
He commended the barangay health workers for their cooperation and assistance in facilitating the mission.
PGC’s medical and dental mission in Indang was one of the many initiatives that the provincial government has undertaken to address the healthcare disparities in the province.
Through these initiatives, the PGC hopes to improve the health and well-being of the Caviteños, and to foster a culture of community engagement and solidarity.
