Naic’s Top Wanted Person Arrested for Child Abuse

The top wanted person in Naic, Cavite, who was accused of committing acts of lasciviousness against a child, was arrested by the Indang police on Friday, January 5, 2024.

The suspect, who goes by the alias “Marvin”, was nabbed in Barangay Malainen Bago, Naic, Cavite, following an intelligence-driven operation by the personnel of the Warrant Section of Indang Municipal Police Station, according to a press release from the Cavite Police Provincial Office.

Marvin, a resident of the same barangay, was wanted for the crime of acts of lasciviousness in relation to Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act. He had a warrant of arrest issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 15, Naic, Cavite, under Criminal Case NC-4874, with a recommended bail of Php80,000.00.

The Chief of Police of Indang Municipal Police Station, PMAJ EDWARD B CANTANO, identified the suspect and said that he is now under the custody of Indang Municipal Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.

The Cavite Police Provincial Office said that it remains committed to hunting down people with an existing warrant of arrest to make sure that they will face the charges filed against them in court.
