In a recent operation by the Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC), six individuals among the 204 Chinese nationals detained during a raid on a Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) in Bamban, Tarlac, have been identified as fugitives from Mainland China.

The PAOCC’s Executive Director, Undersecretary Gilbert DC Cruz, confirmed on Thursday that these men were found to be seeking refuge in the Philippines despite being wanted in their home country for various offenses.

The individuals, ranging in age from 27 to 49, are accused of crimes including fraud, public disturbance, aiding in information network criminal activities, operating illegal gambling establishments, and illicit border crossing.

The revelation came after collaboration with international law enforcement agencies.

The PAOCC is now working closely with the Bureau of Immigration to expedite the deportation process for these fugitives. This action follows the March 13th raid on Zun Yuan Technology Inc., where authorities aimed to rescue several Malaysian nationals and uncovered a large number of undocumented foreign workers.

The company is alleged to have engaged in computer-related fraud, targeting victims across Asia and North America for financial exploitation.
