BULIHAN, Silang, Cavite — The local government is offering free shuttle rides and free bread to residents visiting their departed loved ones during the All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day observances.
Twelve vehicles will provide free transportation from Oct. 31 to Nov. 2, 2026 for people heading to Bulihan Public Cemetery.
The shuttles run from the terminal in Barangay Anahaw 2 to the cemetery and back, easing travel for families who want to offer flowers, light candles and say prayers for their dead relatives.
The program is led by Silang Mayor Ted Carranza as part of the local government’s effort to address the public’s needs during the holiday.
On Sunday morning, the local government also gave out free pandesal to early visitors at public cemeteries.
Local officials said the services are meant to ease the trip to the cemetery and show care for families observing the tradition of remembering the dead.
