DASMARIÑAS, Cavite — The 4th Congressional District of Cavite, which includes Dasmariñas City, has the lowest proposed allocation among the province’s eight districts at P500 million pesos, according to a graphic circulated by One Cavite.
The figure is far below the allocations proposed for other districts, which go as high as P2.14 billion pesos for the 8th District, represented by Rep. Aniela Bianca Tolentino.
The 7th District, represented by Rep. Crispin Diego Remulla, is next at P2.06 billion pesos.
Despite the smaller amount, Rep. Jennifer Austria-Barzaga said programs for residents of her district are continuing.
These include free education, free medical treatment and free services for families who have lost a loved one.
“Although the funding given to our district is small, one thing is certain: Important services and projects for the welfare of Dasmariñas residents will continue,” Barzaga said.
