A Philippine National Police officer stopped to help victims of a vehicular accident on the Cavite Expressway on Wednesday morning, providing first aid and coordinating with responders before emergency personnel arrived.
Police Lt. Col. Eleuterio S. Logronio III of the Cavite Police Provincial Office was passing through the area around 7:20 a.m. when he noticed an overturned vehicle involved in the crash.
Rather than continue on his route, Logronio stopped at the scene to check on those involved. He personally assisted the injured and administered first aid while ensuring their safety as they waited for emergency responders to arrive.
He also asked nearby traffic enforcers for help maintaining order and safety around the crash site and coordinated with responding personnel.
Police cited Logronio’s swift response as a reminder that every second counts during an emergency, and that even small acts of assistance can make a significant difference for a victim.
