IMUS CITY, Cavite — Ten people were arrested Thursday morning after the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Cavite Provincial Office carried out a buy-bust operation in Barangay Palico 1, Imus City, authorities said.
According to initial reports, the operation took place around 10 a.m. at Villa Calla in Barangay Palico 1. It was conducted jointly by the PDEA Cavite Provincial Office, PDEA Laguna and the Cavite Maritime Police.
Authorities seized about 106 pieces of ecstasy (MDMA) worth an estimated 180,200 pesos, along with marijuana kush valued at 7,500 pesos, ketamine worth 5,000 pesos and liquid ecstasy worth 4,200 pesos, police said.
Also confiscated were several cellphones, the marked buy-bust money and various drug paraphernalia.
The suspects are now in custody pending the filing of charges.
