INDANG, Cavite — Police have arrested two suspects in the fatal shooting of a couple and their 4-year-old grandchild in Sitio Buho, Barangay Daine 1, Indang, Cavite, as the victims’ family calls for justice.
Authorities are still searching for a third suspect allegedly involved in the killing.
The victims were shot inside a hut in a remote area on the night of Aug. 25, 2026, according to family accounts.
The father was hit by seven bullets and the mother by four, while the child sustained two gunshot wounds, including one to the head, the family said.
Despite an immediate response from responders, all three victims died.
The family is calling for accountability for everyone involved in the killing and is pushing for the swift arrest of the remaining suspect.
Police said a follow-up investigation is ongoing to establish the full details of the incident, confirm each suspect’s role and track down the suspect still at large.
