SILANG, Cavite — SM Prime Holdings has identified this Cavite town as a potential site for a major development targeted for completion by 2029, part of the company’s broader plan to launch a new lifestyle center or mixed-use project every year through 2030.
The company confirmed the development remains in the planning stage, with the exact location, scale and groundbreaking timeline still undetermined. No official site has been announced, though local speculation has long centered on a blue-fenced property beside a Toyota dealership in Silang as the likely location.
While that project remains unconfirmed, Silang residents are set to benefit sooner from the opening of SM Nuvali, a mall situated just across the boundary in Santa Rosa, Laguna.
The potential Silang development highlights the growing significance of the Silang-Tagaytay corridor as an emerging center for commercial, business and residential activity. If it proceeds, the project would reinforce the area’s standing as one of Cavite’s key growth corridors for investment and development.
