TANZA, Cavite — The local government of Tanza has officially launched a free public transportation program aimed at easing the daily commuting costs of residents.
The program features modern air-conditioned electric jeepneys that will provide free rides to Tanza commuters. Officials said it is intended to help residents cope with rising costs of living while promoting the use of environment-friendly vehicles.
The municipal government said the program fulfills a long-standing goal of delivering affordable and improved transport services to Tanzeños.
Local officials also acknowledged taxpayers for their role in making such community-oriented programs possible, and pledged to continue launching projects focused on the welfare and convenience of Tanza residents.
