Silang councilor calls for probe into PrimeWater supply woes

SILANG, Cavite — A municipal councilor has called for an investigation into the persistent water supply problems plaguing Silang residents, citing mounting complaints over erratic water distribution schedules by PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp.

In a privilege speech, Councilor Allan Tolentino said many families are forced to stay up past midnight because water from PrimeWater typically flows only in the late-night hours, posing added hardship and health risks.

Tolentino urged the Sangguniang Bayan to summon PrimeWater management for a thorough investigation and to demand immediate solutions to ensure adequate and humane water service for all residents of Silang.
