NOVELETA, Cavite — The municipality of Noveleta has received the Good Financial Housekeeping recognition from the Department of the Interior and Local Government for calendar year 2025, the agency announced.
The award, given to local government units that demonstrate transparency, accountability, and sound fiscal management, was conferred under the administration of Mayor Davey Reyes Chua.
The GFH recognition is part of the DILG’s Seal of Good Local Governance program, which evaluates LGUs on their compliance with financial management standards, including proper nnnñ knowfunds.
First District Rep. Jolo Revilla, whose district includes Noveleta, congratulated the municipality on the recognition, citing it as evidence of responsible and effective governance.
“Noveleta continues to be a model of responsible and effective governance,” Revilla said.
The award reflects the collective efforts of local officials and government workers to ensure that public funds are directed toward programs that benefit residents, officials said.
