TOLL COLLECTION TO BEGIN ON CAVITEX C5 LINK’S FINAL SEGMENT ON MAY 5
MANILA — The Toll Regulatory Board has authorized toll collection on the final segment of the CAVITEX C5 Link starting May 5, 2026, ending a roughly five-week period of free passage since the segment opened on March 30.
Segment 3B, which connects the Manila-Cavite Expressway to C5 Road in Taguig City, has been serving nearly 9,000 motorists daily since its opening. The segment cuts travel time between the two corridors from the usual one and a half hours to just 15 minutes.
Motorists traveling between Taguig and Sucat Road, also known as Dr. A. Santos Avenue, will pay P59 for Class 1 vehicles, P117 for Class 2, and P176 for Class 3. Those passing through from Taguig to Roxas Boulevard or Zapote will be charged P97 for Class 1, P194 for Class 2, and P291 for Class 3. The rates are inclusive of Segment 3B charges.
With the expressway now fully connected, it provides access to Ninoy Aquino International Airport and C5 via interchanges at the R1 Expressway, Sucat Road, and C.P. Garcia Avenue. Operators said the link also strengthens logistics connections between Cavite’s industrial zones and commercial centers in Metro Manila, while offering an alternative route for heavy vehicles to ease congestion on major roads across Cavite and southern Metro Manila.
