KAWIT, Cavite — Burglars stole four motorcycles, a laptop and a cellphone from a Wheeltek motorcycle dealership early Tuesday, police said.
Employees discovered the break-in at about 8 a.m. Jan. 27, 2026 at the Wheeltek Binakayan Branch in Barangay Bisita-Balsahan, according to the Kawit Municipal Police Station.
The suspects forced entry by breaking two padlock holders on the galvanized roll-up door, police said. Investigators found that motorcycle parts had been removed before the units were taken.
A 25-year-old cashier identified as Dharen, a Bacoor resident, confirmed the missing items after conducting an inventory: four motorcycles, one Vivo cellphone and one Acer laptop.
The store had no security cameras installed inside, police said. Investigators are now seeking footage from neighboring establishments.
No suspects have been identified. Police are asking the public to provide information that could help solve the case.
Authorities are urging business owners to strengthen security measures, including installing CCTV cameras and reinforced locking systems.
