TANZA, Cavite — The Department of Migrant Workers and the Philippine National Police–Criminal Investigation and Detection Group raided a travel agency accused of illegal recruitment Tuesday.
Authorities shut down R and T Travel and Tours at 421 Punta II, Tanza–Trece Martires Road and arrested an individual allegedly operating the business.
The DMW said the agency lacked a valid license to recruit and deploy Filipino workers abroad.
The investigation is ongoing.
