Kenyan, Filipina runners take top honors at inaugural ASICS META in Imus

IMUS, Cavite – Thousands of runners braved the rain to compete in the first-ever ASICS META: Time: Trials Philippines 2025 at the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub in Imus, Cavite, on Sunday, Oct. 19, 2025.

The prestigious 10-kilometer race, which aims to promote personal excellence and performance-driven running through data-centric pacing and precision timing, awarded P100,000 pesos to the top finishers in the male and female categories.

Kenya’s Kelvin Kiplagat took the men’s title, while Artjoy Torregosa from Butuan City claimed victory for the women.

Imus City reaffirmed its capability as a host city for world-class sporting events with the successful staging of the inaugural event.
