Imus City Government to Close Road Near Public Market for Infrastructure Upgrade

Imus City – The City Government of Imus will implement a partial road closure near its public market starting Monday, July 14, 2025, to facilitate road and drainage system improvements, the city’s Traffic Management Unit announced.

The Department of Public Works and Highways will conduct the infrastructure project to upgrade roads and drainage systems in the area surrounding the Imus Public Market, according to the traffic advisory.

City officials advised residents and motorists to plan their shopping trips accordingly and utilize alternative routes during the construction period. The advisory warned of expected heavy traffic congestion in the affected area.

Local authorities apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the public for their understanding during the project implementation.

The city government has not specified the duration of the road closure or provided details on the project’s completion timeline.
