TAGAYTAY CITY — PrimeWater Infrastructure Corp. on Sunday addressed issues raised by actress Carla Abellana over her water bill and limited water supply at her Tagaytay property, following a series of posts on Instagram Stories.
“Ms. Abellana’s account remains active with a minimum consumption of 1 cubic meter, which explains the standard P194 bill, along with a P20 meter maintenance charge,” PrimeWater said in a statement. “In accordance with standard utility practices, all active accounts receive a minimum monthly bill regardless of usage.”
The utility provider also said its team visited Abellana’s property and spoke with her caretaker to explain the billing and offer assistance.
PrimeWater added that it has been deploying daily water deliveries to areas in Tagaytay and elsewhere experiencing low to no water pressure.
The company issued the statement after Abellana responded to PrimeWater’s inquiry about a delayed payment, saying, “Okay lang po. Halos wala din naman po kayo supply na tubig everyday, so parang ganun na din naman po. But anyway, here’s the payment.”
PrimeWater concluded, “Our lines are always open should further concerns arise.”
