MENDEZ, Cavite — More than 3,000 residents of Mendez, Cavite received financial assistance from the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) under the Assistance in Crisis Situation (AICS) program, initiated by Sen. Ramon Bong Revilla Jr. in partnership with Agimat Partylist.
A total of 3,150 beneficiaries received P2,000 each, totaling P6.3 million in government funds.
The aid primarily benefited senior citizens, single parents, and impoverished residents of Mendez, Cavite.
Although Sen. Revilla was not present, he was represented by his children, Agimat Partylist Congressman Bryan Revilla and Bacoor Board Member Ram Revilla, who is also a Cavite vice gubernatorial aspirant.
The Revilla siblings personally oversaw the distribution of aid, assisted by local officials of Mendez, Cavite.
