The suspect, identified only by the alias “Toto,” was apprehended around 12:35 am in Barangay Balsahan-Bisita during a buy-bust operation conducted by Kawit police in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA).
According to Police Lieutenant Colonel Richard D. Corpuz, chief of the Kawit Municipal Police Station, the suspect was caught selling a small sachet of what is believed to be methamphetamine, locally known as “shabu.”
The arrest is part of an intensified campaign against rampant crime in Kawit town, with a focus on drug-related offenses, Corpuz said.
