SILANG, Cavite — A resident of this town topped the national dentistry licensure examination, earning the highest score in the country and bringing recognition to Cavite province.
Dr. Nicole Pastor Joaquin of Barangay Puting Kahoy, a graduate of Adventist University of the Philippines, scored 90.57% on the May 2026 Licensure Examination for Dentists, ranking first nationwide.
The Silang local government, led by Mayor Ted Carranza, congratulated Joaquin, saying her achievement serves as an inspiration to young Caviteños pursuing their own professional goals.
Local officials said Joaquin’s success reflects the continued excellence of Cavite natives in various professional and academic fields as she begins her career as a licensed dentist.
