IMUS CITY, Cavite — Unidentified thieves broke into a laptop warehouse in Barangay Anabu 1-D in the early hours of April 15, making off with an estimated P26,000 in cash, seven laptops, four MyPhone tablets, and an iPhone 12, police said.

The Imus Component City Police Station said the opening crew discovered the break-in at around 2:30 p.m., finding the door lock forcibly opened and damaged. They immediately notified the shop owner.

Closed-circuit television footage showed an unidentified man entering the establishment at around 12:25 a.m. before fleeing on a motorcycle in the direction of Bacoor. Preliminary information indicated that four unidentified men aboard two Honda Click motorcycles may have been involved in the incident.

The owner of the stolen items was identified only as “Janice,” 33, married, a resident of Barangay Tunasan, Muntinlupa City.

Authorities were reviewing CCTV footage in the surrounding area to identify and locate the suspects. The investigation was ongoing.
