Megaworld to Invest ₱10B in New Lifestyle Malls, Including in Cavite
Megaworld Corp. plans to invest approximately ₱10 billion through its retail arm, Megaworld Lifestyle Malls, to build new lifestyle malls across its townships nationwide through 2026.
Among the upcoming developments is Maple Grove Mall in General Trias, Cavite, which is expected to serve as a new shopping and dining hub in the province.
The two-story mall will feature a “classical modern” design and offer curated retail and dining options for the growing community in Cavite.
Graham Coates, who oversees the company’s leasing operations, said consumer spending continues to strengthen in key growth areas such as Cavite, prompting the company to expand its leasing portfolio and retail concepts.
The mall investments are part of Megaworld’s ₱65 billion capital expenditure program for 2026, which supports the expansion of residential, office, hospitality and retail projects in Metro Manila and the provinces.
Megaworld currently has more than 500,000 square meters of gross leasable area in its retail portfolio.
The company is targeting 1 million square meters by 2030.
