GEN. TRIAS CITY, Cavite — Three armed men shot a call center agent and stole his motorcycle early Friday in a residential area, police said.

The victim, identified only as “Brix,” 42, was sitting on his white Honda ADV 160 motorcycle around 12:10 a.m. in Maple Grove, Barangay Tejero when three men on a white Honda PCX scooter without license plates approached from behind, according to the Gen. Trias City Component Police Station.

The suspects demanded the motorcycle keys. When the victim refused and resisted, one suspect shot him with a handgun of undetermined caliber, police said. The bullet struck the victim’s left leg.

One suspect then took the victim’s motorcycle while the other two fled on their scooter toward Kawit, police said.

The victim was taken to Divine Grace Medical Center, where he was treated for a gunshot wound and was in stable condition, hospital officials said.

Police described one suspect as wearing a white T-shirt and white helmet, another in a black jacket, and the third in a gray jacket.

Police are conducting a manhunt for the suspects and investigating the case. The stolen motorcycle bears license plate number D383TU.

Authorities are asking anyone with information to contact the nearest police station.
