DASMARIÑAS Mayor Jenny Barzaga expressed the city’s condolences following the death of Board Member Jun Dela Cuesta.
In a statement posted on social media, Barzaga remembered Dela Cuesta as a man of few words whose sincerity “touched the hearts of many.”
She praised him as a loyal party mate and a dedicated public servant whose commitment to Dasmariñas’s development was unwavering.
Barzaga said the city is grateful for his contributions, which she said left a lasting impact on Caviteños.
She described his legacy as one of “integrity, hard work, and genuine care for the people he served.”
“His presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit and dedication will continue to inspire us all,” Barzaga said.
She concluded by saying she hopes he rests in peace, “knowing that his efforts have made a difference and that he will be remembered with respect and gratitude.”
