IMUS, Cavite — A senior police official personally responded to a road accident in Imus City on Tuesday night, highlighting what authorities described as an example of swift public service.

Cavite provincial police said Acting Provincial Director Col. Ariel R. Red stopped to assist after witnessing a self-accident around 9:25 p.m. in Barangay Bayan V.

Red immediately alerted the Provincial Tactical Operations Center for backup.

Within two minutes, officers from the Imus Component City Police Station arrived at the scene, followed shortly by an ambulance that provided medical assistance, police said.

Authorities said Red’s decision to respond in person, rather than merely issuing instructions, underscored the importance of coordination and compassion in emergency situations.

Police officials said the response demonstrated the value of teamwork and timely action during crises.
