KAWIT, Cavite — Police arrested two suspected drug personalities in a buy-bust operation in Barangay San Sebastian on Wednesday afternoon, August 13, 2025.
The Kawit Municipal Police Station’s Drug Enforcement Unit and intelligence operatives, led by Police Capt. Ernesto G. Monasterial II and under the supervision of Police Lt. Col. Resty E. Soriano, coordinated with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency–Region 4A for the sting at around 2:30 p.m.
Authorities said the suspects, identified only by the aliases “Mark” and “Dan,” are residents of Barangay Molino 3, Bacoor City. They were caught selling a small heat-sealed sachet containing suspected shabu.
Police said the suspects were read their rights under the Miranda Doctrine and taken to the Kawit police station for documentation and proper disposition.
Soriano said the operation was part of intensified anti-crime efforts and warned the public against involvement in illegal drugs.
