TAGAYTAY CITY, Cavite — The Department of Tourism Region IV-A, in partnership with local and police authorities, concluded a four-day Integrated Tourist Safety and Security Seminar for Tourist-Oriented Police for Community Order and Protection (TOPCOP) on Aug. 8, 2025.

Fifty tourist police officers from across Cavite were trained on tourism safety, first aid, child-safe tourism, human rights, gender sensitivity, and the Filipino Brand of Service Excellence.

The program also tackled Cavite’s history, culture, and current tourism challenges.

DOT IV-A Regional Director Marites T. Castro praised the officers’ commitment, saying the initiative strengthens efforts to make Cavite a safer destination for local and foreign visitors.
